Staff Training:

Sea-Air Logistics (SAL) became an Investor in People in 1995. This reflect the customer-focussed training our staff receive, the well-structured systems and continuous auditing that work as core factors in providing a first class service to our clients.

The Investors in People Standard was developed in 1990 by the National Training Task Force, in partnership with leading business, professional, personnel and employee organisations. The standard provides a national framework for improving business performance and competitiveness through a planned approach to setting and communicating business objectives and developing people to meet these objectives. The result is what people can and are motivated to do match the needs of the organisation.

The Standard is based on three main principals:

SAL continues to use this approach, along with its ISO9001-2008 Quality Management System, to improve its service to its customers by improving the motivation, performance and ability of its staff.
