Our corporate conduct is based on our commitment to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity at all times.

Our Sea-Air Logistics (SAL) Group Business Principles set out our commitment to operate responsibly wherever we work in the world and to engage with our stakeholders to manage the social, environmental and ethical impact of our activities in the different markets in which we operate.

SAL pledges not to engage in bribery or any form of unethical inducement or payment including facilitation payments. All employees are required to avoid any activities that might lead to, or suggest, a conflict of interest with the business of the company. Employees must declare and keep a record of hospitality or gifts accepted or offered, which will be subject to managerial review. We do not make any direct or indirect contributions to political parties.

We will uphold laws relevant to countering bribery and corruption in all the jurisdictions in which we operate, particularly laws that are directly relevant to specific business practices.

It is the policy of Sea-Air Logistics (SAL) to achieve and maintain high standards of health and safety throughout the organisation, providing a safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all SAL employees. We are also committed to providing such information and training as they need for this purpose.

Appropriate preventative and protective measures are, and will continue to be implemented following the identification of work-related hazards and assessment of the risks related to them.

It is also the policy of SAL to ensure that its business is conducted in a manner so as to reduce the risks to members of the public.

Sea-Air Logistics (SAL) recognises that it has a duty to both protect and, wherever possible, enhance the environment through the good conduct of its operations. As this aim can only be achieved through the effective management of all business operations, the following policy principles have been adopted to guide our operations:

  • Create a positive environmental culture in which pollution prevention and the conservation of natural resources is always considered and given real priority.
  • Ensure that legal compliance is the minimum standard to which we will work.
  • Operate safely and economically at all times.
  • Maintain an honest and professional dialogue with the wider community.

SAL is committed to implementing an environmental management system, accredited to ISO 14001, to control its impact on the environment.

The Management of the company is delighted that the Certificate has been awarded By Lloyd's Register to the company on 26th June 2017 & it is valid for 3 years.

Sea-Air Logistics (SAL) became an Investor in People in 1995. This reflect the customer-focussed training our staff receive, the well-structured systems and continuous auditing that work as core factors in providing a first class service to our clients.

The Investors in People Standard was developed in 1990 by the National Training Task Force, in partnership with leading business, professional, personnel and employee organisations. The standard provides a national framework for improving business performance and competitiveness through a planned approach to setting and communicating business objectives and developing people to meet these objectives. The result is what people can and are motivated to do match the needs of the organisation.

The Standard is based on three main principals:

  • Plan - develop strategies to improve performance
  • Do - take action to improve the performance
  • Review - evaluate the impact

SAL continues to use this approach, along with its ISO9001-2008 Quality Management System, to improve its service to its customers by improving the motivation, performance and ability of its staff.

As an ethical, family-run business, Sea-Air Logistics (SAL) is committed to achieving the highest principles in regards to health and safety, human resources and anti-corruption activity.

In order to maintain our well-founded reputation for ethical business conduct, SAL has developed a range of business conduct principles to communicate to all stakeholders, regardless of location or role, as well as new suppliers, who are expected to meet these expectations to ensure SAL remains a leader in standards of business conduct.

SAL is AEO Accredited and ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO 28000 and TAPA Audited and Certified.

SAL is in the first award in Hong Kong (number RF0002) of the RACSF (Regulated Air Cargo Screening Facility) issued by the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department on the 14th June 2019.

SAL accredited RA3 validation on 24th December 2019 by the European Union (EU). RA3 stands for Regulated Agent 3rd Country.
